After all this weather that we have been having which is a bit much for my 17’ whaler we finally got to go out this weekend 3/5/23 was nice water we got info that the fish was bitting on the 1800 the day before seen some pics from my friends 140-150# ahi was there so me and my son loaded up at 5:00 left nawilliwli harbor on the look out for opelu which sad to say weren’t there so shooting out to the 1800 passes a few boats actually seen a guy fighting and land what looked like a hebi or a Marlin about 80-120 lb range we kept going to our destination made it there at about 7:00 and about 7:45 took a hit on the port side short corner the Tsutomu 7”blue salmon but no hook up trolled more birds were bombing what looked to be 80-100 lb koshibi we’re launching out of the water then took a hit on the amaebe screaming reel then nothing didn’t come home with anything that day but we tried a bunch of lures and honestly the only one’s that hit were my Tsutomu lures I only have 2 Tsutomu Lures for now I’ll be building my arsenal with Tsutomu as soon as I can wanted to say thank you Garett and your crew for making exceptional lures 🤙 aloha from Kauai thanks again Scott.M
