9” Blunt Bullet
Our version of the broom handle bullet is a short fat faced head that skitters and skates along the surface much more than a Moke bullet.
The sister lure to the strawberry pearl. The Blackberry gives you all the benefits of the blunt bullet but in stark contrast to the light colored strawberry.
The dark profile of the blackberry pearl stands out as an easy target when a predator is looking up into the sun and the white water produced by the wash of your boat.
The result is a lure that gets targeted over and over again producing more bites and more fish for you.
Many of us fish smaller boats with shorter outriggers and we prefer to fish in calm to moderate waters. This is where the blunt bullet shines because the round face will lift the lure to the surface much like a cut face lure but with more of a black water ripple effect rather than the hard popping action of a cut face.
Think of what the water would look like as a flying fish builds up speed to take flight. Most times there’s a long hard ripple across the surface then the splash as the fish comes out of the water.
The blunt bullet does a great job at replicating this action especially for smaller boats in nicer water. It consistently produces great action which translates into effective results time after time
