H1 Premium Series: Blue Salmon

I was fishing with a friend when I was first starting out and thought to myself “that’s a funny looking skirt combo” as I help set out the lures in the morning.
We were looking for bird piles as the word was that the Ahi were mixed in with the Aku piles.
Bouncing from pile to pile with no small Aku lures out, we were coming up to the 3rd or 4th pile when the rigger slammed down and started ripping line.
Oh shit! That color bites I said and my friend laughed. We landed that fish and when we set back up he added another Blue Salmon into the spread.
You need a few of these if you going chase Ahi he said.

Since then this color has been in my starting line up every Ahi season.
It will get really hot at times, it will just be ok at time but there isn’t a time during Ahi season that this color combo isn’t in my spread.
