JC Lures 6” Stick Bait

Joe of JC Lures is a long time lure maker from the west side of Oahu Hawaii. An old-timer to be frank, my dad had Joe’s lures in his lineup all the time back in the day and I got to see first hand how effective they are. 

This stick bait is 9 inches long but with the profile and diameter of a 6” bait. The benefit of a skinny but long bait like this is that it will catch everything.

Because it’s so skinny smaller fish like Aku won’t be afraid to bite it but the length gives it enough profile that large fish will see it and be interested enough to expend the energy to go after it.

The long head also makes this lure run straight and stable which is good in rough water and provides at steady target for higher hook up ratios.
